Hi, my name is Joel (Joe) ten BrinkeI am a non-judgmental client-centred therapist who is here to help and support you no matter what your counselling goals are, and no matter where you are in your journey of discovery, coping, or healing. I approach each client with compassion, empathy, and clinical experience. I have worked with a variety of matters and populations, including but not limited to, adolescents, youth, adults, couples, and families, struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, sexuality, stress management, emotion regulation, family issues, grief and loss, and so much more. While therapy can be demanding, I offer an authentic relationship with practicality and humour. No issue is “off the table” – no shame, no judgement, no guilt. I want to help you move towards the life you value and to help you realize what is important to you so that you live a life that is healthy and happy!

Qualifications: Nicolette Julien 

I have received a Master of Divinity from Mid America Reformed Seminary in  Dyer Indiana, as well  as a Master of Theological Studies with a concentration in counselling from Tyndale University in Toronto. I have training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Acceptance and Commitments Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and member of the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario, The Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association,  an associate member of the Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Certified Professional Counsellor with the Professional Association of Christian Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
