Throughout our work together, I will draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. My clinical style is grounded in empathy, warmth, and curiosity – all of which seek to foster a safe environment. As I believe people are the expert of their own lives and experiences, our sessions will be collaboratively guided by your goals, with a focus of increasing agency and resiliency in your life. You will also find that I often incorporate therapeutic techniques which draw on the mind-body connection. I practice from an anti-oppressive lens, which encompasses the multitude of societal structures (i.e., race, class, religion, or sexual orientation) which impact our mental health.
