Style & Approach:
My name is Narges Khazraei. My style in working with clients is compassionate, collaborative and strengths based. Clients can expect a friendly, warm, and calming session. My approach to therapy is eclectic, and I tend to draw from different therapeutic modalities to meet each client’s individual and unique needs and goals. The foundation of my therapeutic work is Person-Centred which includes effective listening, non judgmental understanding, and showing empathy and unconditional positive regard to clients. Through creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space, the client experiences a safe and caring therapeutic connection that fosters an opportunity for empowering growth. I am respectful of issues of social, cultural, ethnic, sexual, gender, religious, and racial diversity. I have supported clients who have experienced trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, lack of motivation, difficulty with relationships and decision making, as well as, clients who are working on their personal development and would benefit from psychotherapy.
