Virtual Therapy

All our therapists now offer secure video chat sessions via Owl Practice ! Virtual sessions offer accessibility, convenience, and security to provide care in your home or another secure location.

While all our therapists offer virtual therapy with Owl Practice, many of our therapists also have in person sessions at our Bloor West Village office location.

Virtual Therapy

Our therapists use Owl Practice (a secure video chat platform) and will work with you to ensure your confidentiality, security, and privacy. We use Owl Practice over other clinic management platforms as Owl was exclusively created for psychotherapy and for regulated professionals practicing therapy use this platform. Other clinics that are multidisciplinary may use other platforms. The benefits to using Owl for you are that Owl protects your information with special attention to PHIPA and the specific regulations of the therapy colleges (CRPO, OPA, and OCSWSS).

Online therapy has all the benefits of in-person therapy; you are simply interacting with your therapist through a private and secure video chat on your computer or mobile device. It has added benefits, including accessibility in a location of your choosing, for those with disabilities, during times of quarantine and illness, and for parents without child care.

Phone Therapy

Our therapists are also happy to offer phone therapy.

While with phone therapy you won’t see your therapist like with virtual or in-person therapy, at it’s core therapy is done through talking. It is an effective and accessible option both during social distancing and beyond.

Your therapist will work with you and provide tips of maintaining your confidentiality and privacy during your phone session.
